Campaign Chairman's Letter
Bill Deal
Director
Idaho Department of Insurance
It is my pleasure to represent the Idaho Department of Insurance as the Chair of the 2009 "United We Care" State Employees' Charitable Giving Campaign. I invite you to join me in encouraging all of our state employees to participate in this year's campaign.
Social service programs throughout the country provide needed support for community issues that concern all of us including hunger, drug abuse, child and family support, mental health and animal protection. Today's difficult economic climate has a particularly negative impact on these programs.
Idaho state employees set the standard of compassion and caring through public service. This is evident by the generous contributions we make to our communities with donations of both time and money. State employees have the opportunity to join in the annual State Employees' Charitable Giving Campaign. The 2009 campaign will run from September 21 through October 30.
Last year, state employees throughout Idaho contributed more than $330,000 to worthy causes. The need for your support is greater now than ever. Your donations and support will make a difference and are essential to the continued success of these charities and our state campaign.
Thank you for your participation and have fun with your campaign!
Bill Deal
